Le Sénégal s’apprête à affronter le Botswana, pour son entrée en lice en Coupe d’Afrique des Nations, ce mardi à Tanger, en première journée du groupe D.
Les Lions de la Teranga abordent le tournoi continental après une écrasante victoire 8 – 0 sur le Kenya lors de leur dernier match de préparation.
Le Botswana a perdu ses trois matches lors de sa seule participation à la CAN en 2012.
Les deux équipes se sont rencontrées à deux reprises en 2014 et le Sénégal s’est imposé à chaque fois sans encombre.
La confrontation de cet après-midi a lieu à 16 heures locale et 15 heures GMT pendant que l’autre rencontre de cette poule opposera le Bénin à la RDC à 13 heures locale.
